French source ‘LeSport10’ claim that League one big spenders
PSG are ready to offer Chelsea striker Fernando Torres a new life. The 28 year
old misfiring Spaniard is losing his ground at Stamford Bridge PSG is not the
only club interested in signing the former Liverpool man. AS Monaco, another French
club also showed some interest in landing the Chelsea misfit, at the right
price.
Fernando Torres has already made 102 appearances for the
Blues, but failed to impress everyone including Chelsea supporters and managed
to score only 26 goals. PSG are second on the league one table, 2 points behind
Lyon and the side mainly relies on Zlatan Ibrahimovic’s goal scoring form.
Zlatan has already scored 18 goals this season, and Manager Carlo Ancelotti
consider Torres as a cover for their star striker. Chelsea could sell Torres,
if PSG are willing to pay a decent amount and the Spaniard has fallen behind
Demba Ba as a first team choice.
AS Monaco manager and former Chelsea head, Claudio Ranieri
is also interested in signing Torres. There are rumors surrounding a swap
between Radamel Falcao and Fernando Torres is also alive on the card. Torres
always wanted to rejoin Atletico Madrid as retire from where he has begun his
life.
There is no official confirmation from Chelsea FC regarding
these rumors.
